AC Technician Job Opening in Ottapalam

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team. The AC Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of air conditioning systems, including split systems, window units, central AC units, and ductless mini-split systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating moving parts, and replacing filters, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of AC systems. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems using troubleshooting tools, gauges, meters, and diagnostic software, and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Inspect AC units for leaks, corrosion, damage, or wear and tear, and recommend repairs or replacement of parts/components as needed to restore functionality and safety. Test AC systems for proper operation, airflow, temperature, and humidity control, and make adjustments to thermostats, dampers, and controls to optimize performance and comfort. Install and connect AC components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigerant lines, and ductwork, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of refrigerants and adherence to electrical codes and safety protocols. Provide technical support and assistance to customers, answering inquiries, explaining repair options, and providing recommendations for maintenance and upgrades. Maintain accurate records of service calls, work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job, using service reports, work orders, and digital tracking systems. Keep abreast of new technologies, tools, and techniques in HVAC industry, attending training sessions, workshops, and certification programs as needed to enhance skills and knowledge. Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and vendors to coordinate installations, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction. Technical certification or diploma in HVAC/R technology preferred. Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Technician, with a minimum of [insert number of years] years of relevant experience.
