We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Waiters. The Waiter will be responsible for providing attentive and personalized service to guests, taking orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities: Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant, escort them to their tables, and present menus, providing recommendations and descriptions of menu items as needed. Take and confirm orders from guests, accurately recording food and beverage preferences, special requests, and dietary restrictions, and communicate orders promptly to the kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, following service standards, presentation guidelines, and sequence of service. Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs, responding promptly to requests, inquiries, and concerns, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, condiments, and service stations, following cleaning schedules and procedures. Check back with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction with food quality, taste, and presentation, and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, monitoring order times and quality of presentation. Assist with setting up and breaking down dining room sections, including arranging tables, chairs, and place settings, and replenishing supplies as needed. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit card, and electronic transactions, and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift. Upsell additional menu items, specials, and promotions to guests, maximizing revenue opportunities and enhancing the dining experience. Follow health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and alcohol service policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and liability issues. Work collaboratively with other team members, including servers, bussers, hosts, and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless coordination and teamwork. Attend training sessions, staff meetings, and briefings as required by management, staying updated on menu changes, specials, and service procedures. Uphold company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct, promoting teamwork, respect, and professionalism in all interactions and activities. Requirements: Previous experience as a waiter, server, or similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management. Customer-focused mindset and passion for delivering exceptional service, going above and beyond to exceed guest expectations. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure. Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, stoop, and lift trays or objects weighing up to [X] pounds. Basic math skills for processing orders, calculating bills, and handling payments accurately. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant's operating hours and service schedule. Certification in food safety and alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) preferred but not mandatory.
