We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing them with expert advice, coordinating service appointments, and ensuring a positive service experience. Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive at the service center, and provide assistance in identifying their service needs. Listen attentively to customers' concerns, questions, and vehicle issues, and accurately document their requests and preferences. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics, and consult with customers to explain recommended maintenance or repair services. Provide detailed estimates of repair costs, labor charges, and parts pricing to customers, ensuring transparency and clarity in service pricing. Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service department to allocate resources, technicians, and equipment efficiently. Communicate regularly with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicles, estimated completion times, and any additional service recommendations. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly and professionally, and escalate complex problems to the service manager or supervisor as needed. Coordinate with parts department to ensure availability of required parts and accessories for service jobs, and order parts as necessary to meet customer needs. Ensure accurate and timely completion of service paperwork, including work orders, service contracts, and warranty documentation, and obtain customer signatures as required. Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction with the quality of work performed and address any concerns or feedback. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service advisor area, including service desks, waiting areas, and customer lounges, to create a welcoming and professional environment. Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies and procedures in all service interactions and operations. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Service Consultant, or Customer Service Representative in an automotive service environment. Technical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems, components, and maintenance procedures. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and address customer concerns effectively. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple service appointments, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency in using computerized service management systems or CRM software to schedule appointments, track service records, and generate service reports. Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians, parts specialists, and other team members to deliver seamless service experiences to customers. Positive attitude, patience, and empathy to interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, even in challenging situations. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing service paperwork, estimating costs, and documenting customer interactions. Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate customer needs and service demands.
