We specialize in providing high-quality tire retreading services for commercial and passenger vehicles. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tyre Retreading Technician to join our team and contribute to our production process. Responsibilities: Inspect used tires for signs of wear, damage, and suitability for retreading. Remove old tread rubber from tires using specialized tools and equipment. Prepare tire casings for retreading by cleaning, buffing, and repairing any surface imperfections or punctures. Apply new tread rubber to tire casings using hot or cold retreading methods, adhering to manufacturer specifications and quality standards. Mold and cure retreaded tires in curing chambers or molds to bond tread rubber to casings and ensure proper curing of rubber compound. Trim and finish retreaded tires to remove excess rubber and achieve desired tread patterns and dimensions. Inspect finished retreaded tires for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. Test retreaded tires for air pressure, balance, and overall performance using testing equipment. Repair any defects or imperfections in retreaded tires, such as bubbles, separations, or uneven tread wear. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the retreading area, including workstations, tools, equipment, and inventory. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while handling tools, equipment, and hazardous materials. Complete production records, logs, and reports accurately and timely to track production output and quality control metrics. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Tyre Retreading Technician or similar role, preferably in a tire retreading facility. Strong knowledge of tire construction, retreading techniques, and industry best practices. Familiarity with retreading equipment, tools, and materials used in the retreading process. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform precise tire retreading tasks. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and meet production quotas and deadlines. Attention to detail and quality to produce retreaded tires that meet or exceed customer expectations. Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy tires and equipment. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing production demands. Good communication skills and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for delivery or transportation duties).
