We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Stitchers (Tailors) to join our team and contribute to our production process. Responsibilities: Interpret and follow design specifications, patterns, and instructions to produce high-quality garments according to customer requirements. Operate industrial sewing machines and other equipment to stitch, assemble, and finish garments efficiently and accurately. Perform various stitching techniques, including straight stitching, zigzag stitching, overlocking, hemming, and attaching buttons and zippers. Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and other materials for each garment based on design, color, and texture requirements. Take accurate measurements of customers or garments to ensure proper fit and sizing. Make alterations and adjustments to garments as needed to achieve desired fit and finish. Collaborate with designers, patternmakers, and other team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including sewing machines, cutting tables, and storage areas. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while operating machinery and handling tools. Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and production output. Requirements: Proven experience as a Stitcher (Tailor) in a garment manufacturing or tailoring environment. Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other equipment used in garment production. Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques, stitching methods, and fabric properties. Ability to read and interpret sewing patterns, design specifications, and technical drawings. Excellent sewing skills and attention to detail to produce high-quality finished garments. Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and work with fabrics and sewing equipment for extended periods. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Creativity and problem-solving skills to address challenges and make adjustments during the stitching process. Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet production demands. Knowledge of garment sizing and fitting principles is desirable but not mandatory.
