AC Technician Job Opening in Kannur

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of air conditioning systems. Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems, including split ACs, window units, central ACs, and refrigeration systems. Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections of AC units to ensure they are operating efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of defective parts. Test AC systems for proper functioning, refrigerant levels, and airflow using specialized tools and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, changing filters, lubricating moving parts, and checking electrical connections. Follow safety protocols and regulations when handling refrigerants, electrical components, and working at heights. Coordinate with customers to schedule service calls, provide estimates, and ensure timely completion of repairs and installations. Keep accurate records of work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and parts inventory. Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development. Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed. Requirements: Diploma or certificate in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field. Proven experience as an AC Technician, preferably in a similar role. Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical components of AC systems. Knowledge of refrigeration principles, HVAC systems, and industry regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Proficiency in using tools and equipment such as multimeters, pressure gauges, vacuum pumps, and brazing torches. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to repairs. Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including outdoors and confined spaces. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Customer service-oriented attitude with good communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
