Job Title: Laptop Technician Location: Kottayam, Kerala Job Description: As a Laptop Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining laptops and notebooks for residential and commercial clients in Kottayam. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and performance of laptops by identifying and resolving hardware and software issues efficiently. Responsibilities: Diagnose hardware and software problems in laptops, including issues related to keyboards, screens, batteries, motherboards, and operating systems. Disassemble and reassemble laptops to access internal components, using specialized tools and equipment as needed. Identify faulty components through visual inspection, diagnostic tests, and troubleshooting techniques. Repair or replace defective laptop components, such as keyboards, screens, hard drives, memory modules, and power adapters. Perform data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard customer data during repair processes. Install, configure, and update operating systems, drivers, and software applications on laptops. Perform hardware upgrades, including RAM upgrades, hard drive replacements, and SSD installations, to improve laptop performance. Test repaired laptops to verify proper functionality and ensure that all hardware and software features are working correctly. Provide technical support and assistance to customers, answering inquiries and providing guidance on laptop usage and maintenance. Document all repair activities accurately, including diagnostic findings, repair procedures, parts used, and customer interactions. Requirements: Diploma or certification in computer hardware, electronics, or a related field. Proven experience as a laptop technician or computer repair technician, with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing laptops. Strong technical knowledge of laptop components, including CPUs, GPUs, RAM, hard drives, and peripherals. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
