As a Front Office Executive, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing them with a warm welcome, assisting with their inquiries, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.You will greet guests upon arrival, handle their reservations, process check-ins and check-outs, and address any concerns or requests they may have during their stay. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude to create a memorable experience for our guests. Responsibilities: Warmly welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel, providing them with a friendly and professional first impression of the establishment. Assist guests with check-in procedures, including verifying their identification, processing payments, and providing them with room keys and information about hotel services and amenities. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously, providing accurate information and resolving issues to their satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the reception desk, lobby, and guest seating areas, to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests. Answer phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication from guests, addressing their queries and assisting them with reservations, room bookings, and special requests. Process check-outs efficiently, collecting payments, issuing invoices, and ensuring that guest accounts are settled accurately before their departure. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during their stay. Manage room reservations and cancellations, updating the hotel's reservation system with accurate guest information and ensuring that room inventory is maintained at optimal levels. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, reconcile cash drawers at the end of shifts, and follow established procedures for handling payments and receipts. Keep records of guest interactions, transactions, and inquiries using the hotel's computerized system, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of guest information at all times. Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry, to support the smooth operation of the front office department. Stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions, as well as local attractions and events, to provide guests with relevant information and recommendations. Adhere to hotel standards and guidelines for guest service, safety, and security, including emergency procedures and protocols. Uphold the hotel's brand standards and values, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in all interactions with guests and colleagues. Requirements: Previous experience in a front office or guest service role in the hospitality industry is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and vendors. Strong customer service orientation, with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations and create memorable experiences. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office suite and hotel management systems. Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional certification in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
