As a Waiter, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction and enjoyment during their visit. Your primary goal will be to ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering attentive service, taking accurate orders, and anticipating their needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly as they arrive, escort them to their tables, and present menus. Provide menu recommendations and describe menu items accurately to guests, answering any questions they may have. Take food and beverage orders from guests, accurately recording their selections and any special requests. Enter orders into the point-of-sale system promptly and ensure that they are transmitted accurately to the kitchen and bar. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring that orders are delivered correctly and efficiently. Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs, such as refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and providing additional condiments or utensils. Check back with guests to ensure that they are satisfied with their meals and address any concerns or requests promptly. Process guest payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile checks at the end of shifts. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure that orders are prepared and served correctly and promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables, resetting them, and ensuring that condiment stations are stocked. Assist with opening and closing procedures, such as setting up tables, stocking supplies, and cleaning up after service. Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food and adherence to sanitation guidelines. Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to service standards, safety, and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, seeking solutions to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining a professional demeanor. Requirements: Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues. Friendly and outgoing personality, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service and hospitality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking, serving, and processing payments. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and lift moderate weights. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements.
