As a Room Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized and efficient room service experiences to our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.You will take orders, deliver meals and beverages, and attend to guests' requests with professionalism and attention to detail. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Receive room service orders from guests via phone or in-person, accurately recording their preferences and special requests. Provide menu recommendations and assist guests in selecting dishes and beverages that meet their preferences and dietary requirements. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, prioritizing guest satisfaction. Prepare trays and carts with food, beverages, utensils, condiments, and other items necessary for room service delivery. Deliver orders to guest rooms promptly and courteously, following established service standards and presentation guidelines. Present orders to guests, verify accuracy, and offer additional assistance or amenities as needed. Set up and arrange dining tables in guest rooms, ensuring a clean and inviting presentation. Collect payment from guests, process transactions accurately, and maintain records of room service charges. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally, seeking solutions to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to coordinate guest services and ensure smooth operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area, including storage areas, equipment, and utensils. Monitor and replenish room service supplies, including food, beverages, condiments, and amenities, as needed. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of food items. Follow hotel policies, procedures, and guidelines related to room service operations, safety, and guest service. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting colleagues and fostering teamwork. Requirements: Previous experience in room service, food and beverage service, or a related hospitality role is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and accommodating demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking, delivery, and presentation of room service orders. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and walk long distances. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements. Fluency in Malayalam and English; additional language skills are a plus.
