As a Snacks Maker, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving our signature snacks to our valued customers.You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that snacks are prepared according to our standards of quality, taste, and presentation. This role requires culinary skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating delightful snacks that leave a lasting impression on our customers. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of snacks, including samosas, pakoras, vadas, bhajis, and other traditional Indian snacks. Follow standardized recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of snacks. Clean and prepare ingredients for snack preparation, including chopping vegetables, mixing batters, and shaping dough. Deep fry snacks to perfection, ensuring they are cooked evenly and have a golden brown color. Monitor cooking temperatures and adjust as needed to maintain food safety standards. Plate snacks attractively and garnish them with appropriate condiments, such as chutneys, sauces, and spices. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the snack preparation area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety. Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and smooth workflow. Assist in the preparation of other menu items or special dishes as needed. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions about snacks. Monitor customer feedback and make adjustments to snack recipes or preparation techniques as needed. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting team members and maintaining a professional demeanor. Requirements: Previous experience in snack preparation or a similar role in a restaurant or food establishment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of Indian snacks and street food specialties is a plus. Basic culinary skills, including knife handling, frying, and food preparation techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in food preparation and presentation. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification.
