You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional tea experiences, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation, and contributing to the overall success of our establishment. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a diverse selection of teas, including black tea, green tea, herbal tea, chai, and specialty blends, adhering to established recipes and brewing techniques. Greet customers warmly as they enter the establishment, take their tea orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences, flavor profiles, and dietary restrictions. Operate tea-making equipment, including tea kettles, tea pots, tea infusers, and milk frothers, with precision and care, ensuring optimal brewing conditions and flavor extraction. Measure and portion tea leaves, herbs, spices, sweeteners, and other ingredients accurately, following standardized recipes and customer preferences for strength, sweetness, and milk content. Brew tea to perfection, monitoring steeping times, water temperatures, and infusion methods to achieve desired flavors and aromas, and adjust brewing parameters as needed to meet customer preferences. Froth and steam milk for tea lattes, cappuccinos, and other milk-based beverages, using espresso machines or milk frothers, and pour with artistic flair to create attractive designs and patterns. Garnish and decorate tea beverages with complementary ingredients, such as citrus slices, mint leaves, cinnamon sticks, or edible flowers, enhancing their visual appeal and presentation. Serve tea beverages in appropriate serving vessels, including cups, mugs, teapots, and saucers, and ensure they are presented neatly and attractively to customers. Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers in friendly and courteous manner, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction with their tea experience. Process customer payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and electronic transactions, and issue receipts promptly, thanking customers for their patronage. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tea preparation area, including tea stations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas, by performing regular cleaning and sanitization tasks. Monitor tea inventory levels, replenish supplies as needed, and notify management of any shortages or replenishment needs in a timely manner. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of tea, milk, and other perishable ingredients, and follow sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff, servers, and baristas, to ensure smooth operation and timely service during peak hours and special events. Uphold company policies, procedures, and quality standards, including dress code, grooming guidelines, and customer service protocols, to represent the establishment professionally. Requirements: Prior experience as a Tea Maker, Barista, Beverage Attendant, or similar role in a café, restaurant, tea house, or hospitality establishment is preferred but not required. Passion for tea and beverages, with knowledge of different tea varieties, brewing methods, flavor profiles, and serving techniques. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact warmly and professionally with customers of diverse backgrounds and preferences. Attention to detail and precision in measuring, brewing, and serving tea, with a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality beverages. Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work culture. Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the establishment's operating hours and service demands. Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions, processing payments, and using POS systems or cash registers.
