Responsibilities: Research and identify potential clients, industries, and market segments to target for business development opportunities. Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, online research, and social media outreach. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM software. Conduct in-depth needs assessments and analysis of client requirements to understand their business challenges, objectives, and pain points. Present company products/services to prospective clients, highlighting their features, benefits, and value proposition. Customize sales presentations, proposals, and solutions to address client needs and demonstrate how our offerings can meet their specific requirements. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with company policies, profitability targets, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to coordinate sales efforts, address client concerns, and ensure seamless service delivery. Attend industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking functions to promote company visibility, build relationships, and identify new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support, addressing inquiries, and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, conducting regular market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, analyzing sales data and trends to track progress towards targets and identify areas for improvement. Participate in sales training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry expertise. Represent the company professionally in all client interactions, maintaining a high level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-centric focus. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting team members, sharing insights and best practices, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the [industry/sector] industry. Strong sales acumen, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence decision-makers. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities. Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives from conception to execution.
