Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly as they enter the bar, establish rapport, and engage in friendly conversation to make them feel welcome and comfortable. Take drink orders from guests, provide recommendations based on their preferences, and suggest signature cocktails or specials to enhance their experience. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, following standard recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency. Mix and pour drinks accurately and efficiently, using proper techniques, bar tools, and glassware, while adhering to responsible serving practices and legal drinking age requirements. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the bar counter, back bar, storage areas, and equipment, by following sanitation guidelines and cleaning procedures. Stock bar supplies, including liquor bottles, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware, replenishing as needed to ensure uninterrupted service during peak hours. Process payment transactions accurately, handle cash, credit cards, and electronic payments, and provide guests with receipts and change promptly and courteously. Engage with guests proactively, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to requests for refills, additional orders, or special accommodations to ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption, recognize signs of intoxication, and intervene discreetly to prevent overconsumption and maintain a safe and responsible drinking environment. Upsell premium or specialty beverages, promotions, and menu items to increase sales and revenue while providing attentive and personalized service to guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to coordinate food and beverage orders, ensure timely delivery, and facilitate smooth service flow. Attend training sessions, workshops, and tastings to expand your knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and customer service techniques, and share insights with colleagues. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, address issues promptly, and escalate concerns to management when necessary to resolve effectively. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including alcohol service laws, health and hygiene standards, and fire safety protocols, to maintain compliance and minimize risks. Contribute to a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and support colleagues during busy periods or special events to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional service. Requirements: Proven experience as a Bartender, Bar Server, or Barman in a reputable bar, nightclub, or hospitality establishment. Extensive knowledge of beverage ingredients, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques, with a passion for creating and serving innovative drinks. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests of diverse backgrounds and preferences. Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple orders, prioritize tasks, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drinks, pouring measurements, and processing orders, ensuring consistency and quality in every serving. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate business needs and peak service periods. Knowledge of cash handling procedures, POS systems, and basic math skills for processing payments and reconciling transactions. Physical stamina and endurance to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy trays or cases, and perform repetitive tasks with speed and efficiency. Positive attitude, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and exceeding guest expectations. Familiarity with local liquor laws, alcohol service regulations, and responsible beverage service practices to ensure legal compliance and guest safety. Fluency in Malayalam and proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus. Certification in bartending, mixology, or beverage service preferred but not required.
