As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business expansion through effective sales strategies, client relationship management, and team leadership.You will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring sales representatives, and fostering a culture of performance excellence and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the field sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of sales representatives. Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives, including revenue targets, market penetration, and client acquisition goals. Identify sales opportunities, market trends, and customer needs in the assigned territory, and develop targeted sales strategies and action plans to capitalize on opportunities and address challenges. Establish sales targets, quotas, and KPIs for the field sales team, and monitor performance against goals, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Manage the sales pipeline and forecast accurately, tracking leads, opportunities, and deals through the sales cycle and providing regular updates to management. Conduct regular sales meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews with sales team members to assess progress, provide feedback, and address performance issues. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities to support sales efforts and drive brand awareness and demand generation. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders, representing the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking functions. Negotiate and close high-value sales deals, contracts, and partnerships, leveraging relationships and market insights to secure new business opportunities. Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence, and insights to inform product development, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities, maintaining professionalism and integrity at all times. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, and share insights and best practices with the sales team to enhance performance and competitiveness. Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the sales team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Coordinate with other departments, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and customer satisfaction. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred. Proven experience (X years) in field sales management or leadership roles, with a track record of success in achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams. Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques, with experience in B2B sales, solution selling, and relationship management. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of sales professionals. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans and initiatives that drive business growth and profitability. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and external clients. Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making abilities, with proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to drive insights and action. Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement in sales performance and effectiveness. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs. Fluency in Malayalam; proficiency in English or other languages is an advantage. Knowledge of the [industry or sector] market in Ernakulam and surrounding areas is preferred.
