As part of our team, we are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join us as Waiters/Waitresses. You will represent our restaurant in a professional manner, anticipate guests' needs, and strive to exceed their expectations with exceptional service. Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus. Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and beverages, and answer any questions regarding ingredients, preparation methods, or allergens. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring attention to special requests, dietary restrictions, and preferences. Enter orders into the POS system promptly and transmit them to the kitchen or bar for preparation. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders to guests' tables. Serve food and beverages to guests courteously and efficiently, following established service standards and presentation guidelines. Check back with guests periodically to ensure satisfaction with their meals, address any concerns, and offer additional items or beverages. Monitor table turnover and communicate with the host/hostess and kitchen to manage reservations and seating availability. Prepare and set up dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and tableware, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal. Clear tables, remove empty dishes and glassware, and reset tables for the next guests, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area. Process guest payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions securely, and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift. Assist in cleaning and closing duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restocking supplies as needed. Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and hygiene standards, including sanitation guidelines and safety protocols. Collaborate with other restaurant staff, including kitchen, bar, and management, to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction. Uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence in service, hospitality, and dining experiences, representing our brand with professionalism and integrity. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality. Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to anticipate guests' needs and exceed their expectations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks efficiently. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and presentation standards. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required. Basic math skills for processing orders, calculating totals, and handling payments. Fluency in Malayalam and proficiency in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
