Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with room service inquiries and orders. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring attention to special requests, dietary restrictions, and preferences. Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and promotions, and answer any questions regarding ingredients, preparation methods, or allergens. Enter orders into the computerized system promptly and transmit them to the kitchen or bar for preparation. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders to guest rooms. Verify the accuracy and completeness of orders before delivery, including checking items against the order ticket and ensuring proper presentation. Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms in a courteous and efficient manner, following established service standards and safety protocols. Set up trays, tables, and dining areas in guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail. Provide additional items or condiments as requested by guests, such as utensils, napkins, sauces, or garnishes. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms, including removing used dishes, trays, and glassware promptly after service. Collect payment for room service orders, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit card payments securely. Assist in restocking inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies, and notify the appropriate department of any shortages or discrepancies. Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor or manager as needed. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Collaborate with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, front desk, and kitchen, to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service roles is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for processing orders, calculating totals, and handling payments. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required. Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays or items for extended periods. Knowledge of food and beverage items, menu descriptions, and service techniques is a plus.
