As part of our expansion, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Supervisor to join our team. You will lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to drive performance and achieve departmental goals. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate technical activities, including installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting, to meet customer requirements and quality standards. Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and competency. Assign tasks and schedules to technicians, balancing workload and priorities to meet project deadlines and service commitments. Monitor workflow and resource allocation, adjusting as needed to optimize productivity and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of work performed by technicians to ensure compliance with safety regulations, technical specifications, and customer expectations. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance and support to technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex problems. Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of projects and timely resolution of issues. Maintain accurate records of equipment, inventory, maintenance activities, and service requests using appropriate systems or software. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to improve efficiency, consistency, and safety in technical operations. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to the company's operations. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all technical activities. Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement among technical staff. Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints related to technical issues, providing prompt and effective resolution. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field. Proven experience (X years) in a technical supervisory or leadership role, preferably in [industry/niche]. Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in [relevant technical field, e.g., electrical, mechanical, etc.]. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team. Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with a focus on finding practical solutions to technical challenges. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in technical operations. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to technical operations. Fluency in Malayalam; proficiency in English is a plus.
