As part of our team expansion, we are seeking skilled and experienced Automobile Body Building Technicians to join us. You will play a vital role in transforming vehicles into custom-designed masterpieces while ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the layout, dimensions, and materials required for automobile body construction or modification. Fabricate and assemble vehicle bodies, including chassis, frames, panels, and structural components, using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery. Measure, cut, and shape metal, fiberglass, and other materials to create custom body parts, panels, and accessories, ensuring accuracy and precision. Weld, rivet, bolt, and bond components together to construct or repair vehicle bodies, ensuring structural integrity and durability. Install and align doors, windows, hoods, trunks, and other body parts, ensuring proper fit and functionality. Perform body modifications, such as stretching, shortening, or reshaping vehicle frames and bodies, to accommodate specific requirements or design preferences. Apply primers, sealants, paints, and other finishing materials to vehicle bodies, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish. Inspect completed work to verify conformance to specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Conduct test drives and inspections to ensure proper functioning of vehicle systems, including doors, windows, locks, and lights. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and work areas, to ensure efficiency and safety. Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and designers to troubleshoot issues, brainstorm ideas, and optimize vehicle designs. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and technologies related to automobile body building and customization. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience (X years) as an automobile body builder, fabricator, or technician. Technical certification or diploma in automotive body building, fabrication, or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of automobile construction techniques, materials, and equipment. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication machinery. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
