Our spare parts department plays a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have access to genuine parts and accessories to keep their vehicles running smoothly.You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of genuine parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and providing excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the spare parts department, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and selling automotive parts and accessories. Maintain adequate stock levels of fast-moving and critical spare parts to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts. Develop and implement inventory control procedures to track stock movements, minimize shrinkage, and optimize inventory turnover. Monitor inventory levels regularly and place orders with suppliers as needed to replenish stock. Receive incoming shipments of parts, verify quantities and quality, and update inventory records accordingly. Ensure that all parts are properly labeled, stored, and organized within the warehouse for easy retrieval. Provide assistance and guidance to customers in selecting the right parts for their vehicles, offering recommendations and alternatives as needed. Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, including invoicing, packaging, and arranging for delivery or pickup. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns related to spare parts, resolving issues promptly and courteously. Collaborate with other departments, such as service and sales, to support their needs for spare parts and accessories. Train and supervise spare parts staff, providing coaching and feedback to ensure high levels of performance and customer service. Implement sales promotions, marketing initiatives, and customer loyalty programs to drive spare parts sales and increase customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the spare parts department, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Previous experience (X years) in spare parts management or a similar role within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of automotive parts, components, and systems. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in inventory management software and computer systems for ordering, tracking, and reporting. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Malayalam and English.
