The Computer Faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in computer science and related subjects to students of varying skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging computer science lessons and lectures to students, covering topics such as programming languages, software development, computer hardware, networking, and information technology. Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and teaching resources to ensure alignment with academic standards and industry trends. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technologies, including multimedia presentations, hands-on exercises, and interactive learning tools, to enhance student understanding and engagement. Assess student learning through quizzes, tests, projects, and other evaluative measures, providing timely feedback and guidance to support student progress. Identify and address individual student learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Provide academic advising and mentorship to students interested in pursuing further education or careers in computer science. Stay current with advancements in computer science and related fields by participating in professional development activities, attending conferences, and engaging in independent study. Collaborate with other faculty members and administrators to contribute to program development, curriculum revision, and institutional initiatives. Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities as required. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance, following institutional policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Previous teaching experience, preferably in a higher education or vocational training setting. Strong knowledge and expertise in computer science concepts, programming languages, and software applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in using educational technology tools and software for instructional purposes. Commitment to student-centered teaching practices and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson planning, assessment, and record-keeping. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment. Familiarity with accreditation standards and quality assurance processes in higher education is preferred. Fluency in English and Malayalam is required; additional languages are a plus.
