Job Description: As a member of our food and beverage service team, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction in our restaurant, bar, or banquet facilities. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to the needs of our guests in a professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus. Provide recommendations on food and beverage selections, taking into account guests' preferences and dietary restrictions. Take accurate orders from guests, enter them into the POS system, and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff promptly. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or requests promptly. Anticipate guests' needs throughout their dining experience and provide attentive and personalized service. Prepare and serve specialty drinks, cocktails, or desserts as requested by guests. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, bar, or banquet facilities, including clearing and resetting tables as needed. Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up tables, stocking supplies, and cleaning the dining area or bar. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations and standards at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Qualifications: Previous experience in food and beverage service or a related customer service role is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Basic knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, is a plus.
