Job Title: Two Wheeler Mechanic Location: Ayoor, India Job Description: As a Two Wheeler Mechanic in Ayoor, your primary responsibility is to diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of two-wheeled vehicles, including motorcycles and scooters. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge of two-wheeler systems to provide high-quality service to customers. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with two-wheeled vehicles through visual inspection, computerized diagnostic tools, and customer descriptions. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, tire replacements, and chain adjustments. Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and suspension components. Conduct thorough inspections of two-wheelers to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Test ride vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functionality before returning them to customers. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and customer information using computerized systems or manual logs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, explaining repair procedures, and offering maintenance tips to prolong the lifespan of their vehicles. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturer specifications through ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Collaborate with other team members, including service advisors and parts specialists, to streamline workflow and deliver efficient service to customers. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology preferred. Proven experience as a two-wheeler mechanic or similar role, with a strong understanding of two-wheeler systems and components. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles. Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
