Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards and healthcare policies. Infection Control: Adhere to infection control protocols and practices to prevent the spread of infections within the healthcare facility and ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and needs, ensuring that they receive respectful, dignified, and culturally sensitive care at all times. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and promote interdisciplinary communication and collaboration. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, administering CPR, first aid, and emergency treatments as needed, and following established protocols and procedures. Professional Development: Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including continuing education, training programs, and certification courses, to enhance nursing knowledge, skills, and competencies. Requirements: Education: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) from a recognized institution. Licensure: Valid registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. Experience: Previous experience in clinical nursing practice, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting, is preferred but not mandatory for all positions. Clinical Skills: Proficiency in nursing procedures, techniques, and best practices, including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and patient assessment.
