The Burger Maker will be responsible for preparing a variety of burgers and other grilled items according to customer orders and specifications. Responsibilities: Prepare burgers according to customer orders, following recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines. Grill, season, and assemble burger patties using a variety of meats, including beef, chicken, turkey, and vegetarian options. Customize burgers to accommodate customer preferences and dietary restrictions, such as adding or omitting toppings, adjusting seasoning, or substituting ingredients. Use kitchen equipment such as grills, flattop griddles, fryers, and heat lamps to cook burger patties, toast buns, and melt cheese toppings. Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to prioritize burger orders, expedite preparation, and ensure timely service to customers. Monitor food inventory levels, restocking ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure availability and freshness of burger ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the burger preparation area, including work surfaces, equipment, utensils, and storage areas, following food safety standards. Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and feedback regarding burger options, ingredients, and preparation methods, providing helpful and courteous assistance. Follow established procedures for storing, packaging, and serving burgers for dine-in, takeout, or delivery orders. Assist with cleaning and maintenance tasks in the kitchen and dining areas, as directed by supervisors or management, to ensure a clean and organized workspace. Requirements: No specific educational qualifications are required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience as a Burger Maker, Grill Cook, or similar role in a restaurant, café, or food service establishment is advantageous. Knowledge of burger preparation techniques, ingredient combinations, and cooking methods, with a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet customer demand during peak periods. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating portion sizes, and processing customer orders accurately. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
