Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair hardware issues in electronic devices at the component level, including motherboards, power circuits, ICs, and other integrated components. Utilize schematic diagrams, circuit diagrams, and diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot hardware faults accurately. Perform soldering, desoldering, and reballing operations on electronic components, ensuring precision and quality in all repairs. Replace faulty components, such as capacitors, resistors, ICs, connectors, and sockets, using appropriate tools and techniques. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks on repaired devices to ensure functionality and reliability. Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and repair techniques in chip-level repair through self-study, training programs, and industry publications. Maintain accurate records of repairs, including details of components replaced, work performed, and test results. Collaborate with other members of the technical team to resolve complex hardware issues and share knowledge and best practices. Assist in inventory management, including tracking spare parts, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while performing chip-level repairs, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues. Requirements: Proven experience as a Chip-Level Technician or similar role, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in chip-level repair of electronic devices. Deep understanding of electronic circuits, components, and semiconductor devices, with the ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and circuit layouts. Proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques, including surface-mount and through-hole soldering, BGA rework, and component reflow. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose complex hardware issues methodically and accurately. Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and hot air rework stations. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail, with the ability to work meticulously on small, delicate electronic components. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to colleagues and customers.
