As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding the company's customer base in the Trivandrum region. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales deals. This position requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to generating leads and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities: Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape in the Trivandrum area. Analyze data and insights to develop targeted strategies for business development and expansion. Lead Generation: Identify and prospect new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities. Build and maintain a database of prospective clients and sales leads. Client Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries. Present company products or services to potential clients through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations. Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs and requirements of prospective clients. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and pricing models. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients to maximize revenue and achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Close sales deals and secure contracts with new clients, meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas. Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with existing clients to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities. Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the sales process and beyond. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and progress towards targets using CRM software or other sales management tools. Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Proven experience in business development, sales, or relevant role, preferably in the IT, software, or technology industry. Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Strategic thinker with analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
