As an Aluminium Fabricator, you will be responsible for crafting aluminium structures and products according to specifications and blueprints. Your role involves cutting, shaping, and assembling aluminium components to create a variety of products, including windows, doors, frames, and architectural features. Responsibilities: Reading Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the design requirements for aluminium products. Determine materials needed, dimensions, and assembly processes based on project specifications. Cutting and Shaping: Use cutting tools such as saws, shears, and routers to cut aluminium sheets, bars, and profiles to the required dimensions. Shape aluminium components using bending machines, presses, and other forming equipment. Assembly and Joining: Assemble aluminium parts and components using welding, riveting, screwing, or adhesive bonding techniques. Ensure proper alignment and fit of components during assembly to achieve structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Finishing and Polishing: Smooth and polish aluminium surfaces using sanders, grinders, and polishing tools to remove imperfections and enhance appearance. Apply protective coatings or finishes to aluminium products to improve durability and weather resistance. Quality Control: Inspect finished aluminium products for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications. Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies in fabrication or assembly processes. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards for aluminium fabrication. Material Handling and Inventory Management: Handle and store aluminium materials and supplies safely and efficiently. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as an Aluminium Fabricator or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Familiarity with aluminium fabrication techniques, equipment, and tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in metal fabrication.
