As an Accountant cum Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing both accounting functions and sales activities within our organization. Your role involves maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing inventory, and actively participating in sales efforts to promote our products or services. This position requires a combination of accounting expertise, sales acumen, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities: Accounting Duties: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely manner. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance indicators to support decision-making and planning. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Sales Activities: Identify sales opportunities and generate leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building. Engage with potential customers to understand their needs, present product or service offerings, and close sales deals. Provide product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to prospects to showcase the value proposition and benefits. Follow up with leads and prospects through phone calls, emails, and meetings to nurture relationships and secure sales. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues to maintain positive relationships. Provide personalized assistance and support to customers throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale service and support. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and manage replenishment orders to ensure adequate product availability. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure inventory, negotiate pricing and terms, and manage supplier relationships. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accuracy and minimize losses. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in accounting, sales, marketing, and operations departments to achieve business objectives and targets. Communicate effectively with team members to share information, coordinate activities, and support cross-functional initiatives. Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in accounting and sales roles, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting requirements. Excellent sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing techniques. Proficiency in using accounting software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
