Civil AutoCAD Designer Job Opening in Ernakulam

As a Civil AutoCAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, plans, and designs for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD software. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce accurate and precise technical drawings that meet project requirements and specifications. This role requires strong drafting skills, proficiency in AutoCAD software, and a good understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Responsibilities: Drafting and Design: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and infrastructure. Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to develop accurate drawings. Incorporate design changes and modifications as per client feedback and project requirements. Technical Drawing: Prepare construction drawings, sections, elevations, and cross-sections for various structural components and systems. Generate detailed drawings of foundations, structural elements, reinforcement details, and other civil engineering features. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the preparation of technical drawings. Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with project teams, architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives. Communicate effectively with team members to clarify design intent, resolve issues, and ensure accuracy of drawings. Participate in design reviews, meetings, and site visits as required to support project coordination. Quality Control and Documentation: Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards and specifications. Maintain organized project files and documentation, including drawing logs, revisions, and as-built drawings. Ensure proper version control and documentation management throughout the design process. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field. Proven experience as a Civil AutoCAD Technician or drafter in the construction or engineering industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD software, including 2D drafting and 3D modeling capabilities. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and building codes. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
