Job Description: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets within the assigned geographical area. Reporting to the Sales Director, the Area Sales Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies, building relationships with clients, and ensuring the overall success of the sales function. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing a team of sales executives and representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives. Developing and implementing strategic sales plans and initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share within the assigned area. Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitor activities. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction. Providing coaching, training, and mentoring to sales team members to enhance their skills, performance, and productivity. Setting clear sales targets, KPIs, and objectives for the team and monitoring performance against these metrics. Collaborating with the marketing department to develop promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing strategies to support sales efforts. Analyzing sales data, pipeline status, and market feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Managing the sales budget, expenses, and resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes within the allocated budget. Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and products/services. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the [industry/sector] sector, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
