Water Purifier Technician Job Opening in Payyanur

As a Water Purifier Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing water purification systems to ensure clean and safe drinking water for customers. You will troubleshoot technical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide excellent customer service. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring water quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Install water purification systems, including filters, membranes, and UV sterilizers, at customers' premises according to manufacturer specifications. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of water purifiers to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Replace worn-out or damaged components and parts as needed to maintain water quality standards. Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose technical issues with water purifiers, such as leaks, low water pressure, or malfunctioning components. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Repair or replace faulty parts, switches, pumps, or valves to restore proper functionality. Water Quality Testing: Conduct water quality tests using appropriate testing kits or equipment to assess the effectiveness of purification systems. Interpret test results and make recommendations for adjustments or improvements to enhance water quality. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to service calls, inquiries, and complaints. Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of water purifiers, including filter replacement schedules and cleaning procedures. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and replacements using digital or paper-based systems. Prepare service reports, work orders, and invoices for customers and internal purposes. Provide feedback to management on product performance, customer feedback, and service improvements. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing engineering. Proven experience as a technician in the water treatment or purification industry. Strong technical skills and knowledge of water purification systems, including RO (reverse osmosis), UV (ultraviolet), and UF (ultrafiltration) technologies. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Customer-centric mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
