As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting our products or services in the Kasaragod region. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to generating leads and closing deals. Key Responsibilities: Market Research and Lead Generation: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities in the Kasaragod area. Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research. Client Engagement and Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with clients through regular communication, meetings, and presentations. Understand clients' business needs and requirements, and propose suitable products or services to address them. Sales and Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the assigned territory. Pitch our products or services to prospective clients, negotiate terms and pricing, and close sales deals effectively. Account Management: Manage accounts of existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns, and upselling additional products or services. Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, including product demonstrations, training sessions, and troubleshooting. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue generation in the CRM system. Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the relevant industry or sector. Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written. Ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and propose effective solutions. Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office applications, and other sales tools. Self-motivated and proactive approach to prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required. Additional Information: This position may involve working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client meetings and business events. Fluency in Malayalam and English is required, while knowledge of other languages may be advantageous. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle may be necessary for travel within the region.
