We are looking for skilled Plumbing Technicians to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures according to industry standards and customer requirements. The Plumbing Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of plumbing systems, contributing to customer satisfaction and business success. Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment, including pipes, fittings, valves, faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Cut, thread, and connect pipes using various tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, wrenches, and soldering torches, ensuring proper fit and alignment. Install and test plumbing systems for leaks, blockages, and proper functioning, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed. Repair or replace damaged or worn-out plumbing components, such as pipes, valves, seals, and fixtures, using appropriate techniques and materials. Perform routine maintenance tasks on plumbing systems, such as cleaning drains, flushing water heaters, and inspecting for corrosion or leaks. Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other tradespeople to coordinate plumbing installations and renovations in new construction and remodeling projects. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards in the workplace, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition, following maintenance procedures and safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients to understand their plumbing needs, explain service options, and address concerns. Estimate material and labor costs for plumbing projects, preparing accurate quotes and invoices for customers. Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing installation and repair. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Plumbing Technician or in a similar role, with a minimum of [insert number] years of experience in plumbing installation and repair.
