We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to edit and assemble raw footage into compelling videos that align with our clients' vision and objectives. The Video Editor will play a key role in shaping the narrative, pacing, and visual style of our videos, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and creativity. Responsibilities: Collaborate with producers, directors, and clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and creative vision. Review and select raw footage, audio files, and graphic elements for editing, ensuring they align with project goals and specifications. Edit video footage using editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, to create cohesive and visually appealing sequences. Cut, splice, and arrange footage to optimize storytelling, pacing, and flow, while maintaining continuity and coherence. Enhance video and audio quality, color correction, and visual effects to enhance the overall production value of the videos. Add music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the emotional impact and engagement of the videos. Create and incorporate motion graphics, titles, and animated elements to convey information and reinforce key messages. Collaborate with motion graphic designers, animators, and other creative professionals to integrate visual effects and animations seamlessly into the videos. Ensure consistency in branding, style, and visual identity across all video projects. Review and revise video drafts based on feedback from clients, directors, or producers, making adjustments as needed to meet project requirements. Manage video files, project assets, and archives to ensure efficient organization and accessibility. Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques, and software updates to maintain proficiency and creativity in video editing. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing projects across various genres and styles. Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, and familiarity with audio editing software, such as Adobe Audition or Audacity. Creative storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual composition, pacing, and timing. Strong understanding of cinematography, color theory, and visual aesthetics. Technical proficiency in video compression, file formats, and video codecs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines and project timelines. Attention to detail and accuracy in editing, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to client specifications. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client feedback. Bachelor's degree or diploma in film editing, media production, or a related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is advantageous.
