We are looking for talented and experienced Carpenters to construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures and fixtures. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in executing carpentry projects according to specifications, drawings, and blueprints, ensuring high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction. Responsibilities: Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and dimensions. Select and procure appropriate wood and other materials for carpentry projects. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wooden components using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and chisels. Install wooden structures, fixtures, cabinets, furniture, and fittings according to project plans and specifications. Ensure accuracy and precision in all carpentry work, including cutting, fitting, and joining wood components. Repair and refurbish existing wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture as needed. Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, locks, and knobs, on wooden doors, cabinets, and furniture. Sand, stain, and finish wooden surfaces to enhance appearance and durability. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including tools, equipment, and materials. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on construction sites to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to coordinate work and address project requirements. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or woodworking industry. Proficiency in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in construction and woodworking. Good communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
