We are looking for a talented and experienced Tea Maker to prepare and serve a variety of teas to our customers. The Tea Maker will be responsible for brewing teas to perfection, ensuring consistent quality, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of teas, including black tea, green tea, herbal tea, and specialty blends. Brew tea leaves according to recommended temperatures and steeping times to achieve optimal flavor. Customize tea orders based on customers' preferences, such as strength, sweetness, and milk content. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tea preparation area, including tea brewing equipment and utensils. Assist customers in selecting teas from our menu and provide recommendations based on their taste preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system. Prepare and serve accompanying items such as biscuits, snacks, or pastries with tea orders. Engage with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, answer questions about tea varieties, and provide information about tea origins and brewing methods. Monitor tea inventory levels and restock supplies as needed. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of tea products. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a smooth workflow and provide excellent customer service. Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurant. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Tea Maker, Barista, or in a similar role, preferably in a café, restaurant, or tea house. Extensive knowledge of different tea varieties, brewing methods, and flavor profiles. Ability to brew tea to perfection and maintain consistent quality. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tea orders. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions. Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
