The Multimedia Faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in multimedia design, production, and theory to undergraduate and/or graduate students. This position requires a passion for multimedia education, a commitment to student success, and a desire to contribute to the advancement of the field through research and scholarly activities. Responsibilities: Teaching and Curriculum Development: Design and deliver courses in multimedia design, production, animation, and related subjects. Develop curriculum that reflects current trends and best practices in multimedia. Create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs and learning styles. Use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, hands-on workshops, and online resources. Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their skills and understanding. Research and Scholarly Activities: Conduct research in areas related to multimedia, such as digital media, interactive design, virtual reality, etc. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences. Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and interdisciplinary initiatives. Stay updated with developments in multimedia technologies and incorporate them into teaching and research. Student Mentoring and Advising: Advise and mentor students on academic and career-related matters. Supervise student projects and theses in multimedia design and production. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students. Service and Administration: Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other service activities. Contribute to the development and assessment of program goals and learning outcomes. Assist in recruitment efforts, such as attending open houses and meeting with prospective students. Maintain office hours for student consultation and support.
