We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Executive to join our team in Trivandrum. The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting financial planning and analysis activities. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting skills, proficiency in financial software, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations, using accounting software and spreadsheets. Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and reimbursements in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analyses, to assess financial performance and monitor key financial indicators. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, including revenue projections, expense tracking, and capital expenditure analysis, to support strategic decision-making and business growth. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital levels, and recommend strategies to optimize cash management, minimize financial risks, and maximize return on investment. Conduct financial analysis and research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor performance, and provide insights, recommendations, and actionable intelligence to management. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and board materials for senior management, stakeholders, and investors, and participate in financial meetings and discussions as needed. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal controls, and assist in the implementation of financial policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinate with internal teams, including procurement, sales, and operations, to reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and provide financial support and guidance as needed. Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews, and respond to inquiries and requests for information. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations, and ensure timely implementation of updates and revisions in financial reporting and practices. Support special projects, initiatives, and ad-hoc assignments related to financial analysis, process improvement, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives as directed by management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required; CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred. Proven work experience as a Finance Executive, Accountant, Financial Analyst, or similar role, with a strong background in financial accounting, analysis, and reporting. Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards, such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data, perform variance analysis, and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision. Integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential financial information and sensitive matters. Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs, priorities, and technologies. Fluency in Malayalam and English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage. Knowledge of local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and business practices in Trivandrum or Kerala is preferred. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet deadlines and support business operations.
