We are currently seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Floor Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment in Malappuram. The Floor Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and exceptional service delivery on the floor, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and fostering a positive work environment for staff. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage all activities on the floor, including dining areas, bars, and service stations, to ensure smooth and efficient operation during shifts. Lead and motivate floor staff, including waiters, servers, bartenders, and attendants, by providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback. Monitor the quality of service provided to guests, ensuring prompt and courteous attention to their needs, and addressing any issues or complaints promptly and effectively. Oversee the setup and organization of dining areas, ensuring tables are properly set, clean, and attractive, and the ambiance is welcoming for guests. Coordinate with kitchen staff and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages, and maintain communication to address any special requests or dietary requirements. Conduct regular inspections of the floor area to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, and take corrective actions as needed. Manage inventory levels of supplies, such as linens, tableware, and condiments, and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels. Monitor sales and revenue performance on the floor, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement or revenue growth. Train and mentor floor staff on service procedures, product knowledge, and upselling techniques to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement floor service procedures, standards, and policies to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction. Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new floor staff, and participate in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance, grooming, and conduct standards, and ensure compliance among floor staff. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Floor Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and Malayalam. Additional languages are a plus. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, health and safety regulations, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
