Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring automotive maintenance or repair services. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing expert advice, coordinating service appointments, and facilitating smooth communication between customers and service technicians. Responsibilities: Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner. Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle service needs. Provide expert advice and recommendations on necessary maintenance and repair services based on vehicle inspection and customer input. Explain service estimates, including labor and parts costs, to customers in a clear and understandable manner. Schedule service appointments and ensure timely completion of work. Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize and schedule repairs according to workload and customer requirements. Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the service process. Upsell additional services or maintenance packages as appropriate. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle history. Requirements: Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the automotive industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems and components. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and service management software. Knowledge of automotive service and repair processes and procedures. Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overtime as needed. Diploma or degree in automotive technology or related field is an advantage.
