Service Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day service operations, including vehicle inspections, repairs, maintenance, and customer support activities. Allocate resources, schedule appointments, and prioritize tasks to optimize workflow and meet service targets. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service experiences, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Act as a primary point of contact for escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution to enhance customer satisfaction. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of service quality and safety by implementing best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control measures. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with service standards. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to service technicians, advisors, and customers as needed. Service Sales: Promote and sell service packages, maintenance plans, and additional service offerings to customers to maximize revenue and profitability. Collaborate with sales teams to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and drive incremental service sales. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze service department performance metrics, including service volume, productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction scores. Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance summaries to assess performance trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Budget Management: Develop and manage the service department budget, including labor costs, parts expenses, equipment maintenance, and facility expenditures. Monitor expenses, control costs, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational expenses. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines governing service operations. Stay informed about industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting the automotive service sector. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ASE certification) is a plus. Proven experience in automotive service management, including hands-on experience as a service advisor or technician. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making capabilities. Proficiency in using automotive service management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and service maintenance schedules. Understanding of customer service principles and techniques.
