As a Tandoor Maker, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting Tandoori dishes according to established recipes and standards. Attention to detail, cleanliness, and efficiency are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of Tandoori dishes such as Tandoori Chicken, Naan, Kababs, and other items in the Tandoor oven. Marinate meats and vegetables for Tandoori dishes using traditional Indian spices and flavors. Monitor the temperature and operation of the Tandoor oven to ensure food is cooked properly. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of Tandoori dishes. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the Tandoor area and kitchen. Assist in the development of new Tandoori recipes and menu items. Train and supervise kitchen staff on Tandoor cooking techniques and safety procedures. Requirements: Proven experience as a Tandoor Maker or Tandoori Chef in a busy kitchen. In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, particularly Tandoori cooking methods and spices. Ability to operate and maintain a Tandoor oven. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player with good communication skills. Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required.
