As a Service Advisor in Muvattupuzha, your primary role is to serve as a liaison between customers and the automotive service department. You will assist customers with their vehicle service needs, provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Coordinate with service technicians and other staff to ensure timely completion of appointments and efficient workflow in the service department. Work Order Creation: Create work orders for service requests, including detailed information about customer vehicles, requested services, and any additional instructions or special requests. Input accurate information into the service management system for tracking and billing purposes. Parts Ordering: Determine parts and materials needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance based on service recommendations. Place orders with parts suppliers or the dealership's parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts. Customer Updates: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle service throughout the process. Provide updates on service progress, estimated completion times, and any additional findings or recommendations that may arise during the service. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on completed service jobs to ensure that repairs meet manufacturer standards and customer expectations. Test drive vehicles after service to verify proper operation and performance. Customer Satisfaction: Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction with the service experience. Address any concerns or issues promptly and take necessary steps to resolve customer complaints or dissatisfaction. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service transactions, and vehicle service history. Generate reports, service summaries, and billing invoices as needed for documentation and accounting purposes. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional education or training in automotive technology or customer service is a plus. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive service environment. Knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer software and applications for scheduling, record-keeping, and communication. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer information and service records. Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians, parts personnel, and other team members.
