As an AC Technician in Kollam, your primary responsibility will be to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort for our clients. Ensuring proper placement, wiring, and insulation to maximize efficiency and performance. Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning air filters, coils, and ducts, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting electrical connections to prevent breakdowns and prolong the lifespan of air conditioning equipment. Repair: Diagnosing malfunctions, defects, or performance issues in air conditioning systems through troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools. Repairing or replacing faulty components such as compressors, condensers, evaporator coils, thermostats, and fans to restore functionality. Refrigerant Handling: Handling refrigerants safely and responsibly in accordance with environmental regulations and industry best practices. Performing refrigerant recovery, recycling, and charging procedures to maintain proper levels and comply with legal requirements. Testing and Calibration: Testing air conditioning systems to verify proper operation, airflow, temperature, and humidity control. Calibrating thermostats and control systems to ensure accurate temperature settings and efficient energy consumption. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of service calls, repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory. Requirements: Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Technician, preferably in a residential, commercial, or industrial setting. Technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles, electrical components, and HVAC troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic instruments, and soldering equipment for AC system installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
