As part of our dedicated team, we are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards. Job Description: 1. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, staffing levels, and shift scheduling. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and restaurant policies and procedures. 2. Team Leadership and Training: Supervise and motivate restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bussers, to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve performance targets. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to team members to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and service delivery. 3. Guest Relations: Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Monitor dining areas and guest flow, making adjustments as needed to accommodate guests and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. 4. Order Management and Service Excellence: Oversee order-taking, food and beverage delivery, and table maintenance to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of orders. Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion sizes, maintaining high standards of culinary excellence and consistency. 5. Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and spoilage. Implement cost control measures, such as portion control, inventory rotation, and waste reduction initiatives, to maximize profitability. 6. Cash Handling and Reporting: Manage cash transactions, including handling cash floats, processing payments, and reconciling daily sales receipts. Prepare daily reports on sales, expenses, and labor costs, analyzing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement. 7. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other departments to coordinate service delivery, resolve issues, and ensure seamless operations. Communicate effectively with management, staff, and suppliers to convey information, share feedback, and address concerns. Requirements: Proven experience as a restaurant supervisor, floor manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation with a passion for exceeding guest expectations. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
