Job Description: 1. Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with the project manager and construction team to develop project plans, schedules, and timelines for assigned construction projects. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to the construction site. 2. On-Site Supervision and Management: Supervise and oversee daily construction activities, including site preparation, excavation, foundation work, framing, roofing, and finishing. Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. 3. Team Leadership and Training: Lead and motivate construction workers, laborers, and subcontractors to maintain productivity, safety, and adherence to project schedules. Provide guidance, direction, and training to site staff on proper construction techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards. 4. Quality Assurance and Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of workmanship, materials, and installations to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Identify and address any deficiencies, defects, or safety hazards promptly, taking corrective action as needed to maintain quality and safety. 5. Safety Compliance and Risk Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations on the construction site to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote awareness and compliance among site staff and subcontractors. 6. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily activities, progress reports, work orders, change orders, and safety inspections. Prepare and submit regular reports to the project manager on project status, milestones achieved, and any issues or concerns requiring attention. 7. Client Communication and Satisfaction: Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide project updates, address inquiries, and resolve issues. Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the construction process. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a site supervisor or foreman in the construction industry, with a strong background in residential or commercial construction projects. Solid understanding of construction techniques, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software is desirable.
