As part of our team expansion, we are seeking a skilled and experienced ENT Specialist (Otolaryngologist) to join us in delivering exceptional ENT care. Job Description: 1. Patient Consultations and Examinations: Conduct thorough consultations and examinations for patients presenting with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck symptoms and conditions. Perform detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and specialized ENT assessments to diagnose and formulate treatment plans. 2. Diagnostic Testing and Interpretation: Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, including audiometry, tympanometry, endoscopy, CT scans, MRI scans, and allergy testing, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Analyze test results, imaging studies, and laboratory findings to identify ENT abnormalities, diseases, and disorders. 3. Medical Treatment and Management: Provide medical treatment and management for common ENT conditions, including otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, hearing loss, vertigo, and allergies. Prescribe medications, antibiotics, corticosteroids, decongestants, antihistamines, and analgesics, as appropriate for symptom relief and disease management. 4. Surgical Procedures and Interventions: Perform surgical procedures and interventions for ENT conditions, such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, and sinus surgery. Utilize advanced surgical techniques, including endoscopic sinus surgery, laser surgery, and minimally invasive procedures, to optimize patient outcomes and minimize recovery time. 5. Hearing and Balance Disorders: Evaluate and manage patients with hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, and balance disorders through comprehensive assessments, audiologic testing, and vestibular rehabilitation. Offer treatment options, including hearing aids, cochlear implants, vestibular rehabilitation therapy, and surgical interventions, as appropriate for individual patient needs. 6. Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients and their families about ENT conditions, treatment options, surgical procedures, and postoperative care instructions. Provide counseling and guidance on preventive measures, lifestyle modifications, and environmental factors affecting ENT health. 7. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including audiologists, speech therapists, allergists, neurologists, and oncologists, to provide integrated and coordinated care for complex ENT cases. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and patient care rounds to discuss treatment plans, review patient progress, and coordinate care. Requirements: Medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification (MS/MD/DNB) in Otolaryngology (ENT) from a recognized medical institution. Valid medical license and registration with the Kerala Medical Council or Medical Council of India. Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology (ENT) from a recognized medical board or institution. Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as an ENT Specialist, with expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ENT conditions. Strong surgical skills, including experience with advanced ENT procedures and techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
