Patient Consultations and Assessments: Conduct thorough dermatological consultations and assessments for patients presenting with various skin, hair, and nail conditions. Perform comprehensive medical histories, skin examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to diagnose and formulate treatment plans. 2. Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, fungal infections, hair loss, skin cancer, and cosmetic concerns. Prescribe medications, topical treatments, oral medications, and procedural interventions based on evidence-based medicine guidelines and individual patient needs. 3. Dermatologic Procedures: Perform dermatologic procedures and interventions, such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrosurgery, excisions, laser treatments, and chemical peels, as indicated for diagnosis and treatment. Administer injectable treatments, such as botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, and sclerotherapy, for cosmetic and medical purposes. 4. Skin Cancer Screening and Surveillance: Conduct skin cancer screenings and surveillance for early detection of melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and other skin malignancies. Perform skin examinations, mole mapping, and dermoscopy evaluations to identify suspicious lesions and recommend appropriate management. 5. Cosmetic Dermatology: Provide cosmetic dermatology services, including Botox injections, dermal filler injections, laser treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. Evaluate patients' aesthetic concerns, develop personalized treatment plans, and achieve natural-looking results while prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction. 6. Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients about their dermatological conditions, treatment options, preventive measures, and skincare routines. Provide counseling and guidance on sun protection, skincare products, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices to promote skin health and wellness. 7. Collaboration and Referrals: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, oncologists, plastic surgeons, and dermatopathologists, for interdisciplinary care and referrals as needed. Establish and maintain professional relationships with referring physicians and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care and seamless transitions. Requirements: Medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB) in Dermatology from a recognized medical institution. Valid medical license and registration with the Kerala Medical Council or Medical Council of India. Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology from a recognized medical board or institution. Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Dermatologist, with expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Strong clinical skills, diagnostic abilities, and proficiency in performing dermatologic procedures and interventions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
