As part of our team expansion, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Physician/General Practitioner (GP) to join us in delivering exceptional primary care services. Job Description: 1. Patient Care: Provide primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and seniors. Conduct thorough medical evaluations, physical examinations, and health assessments to diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. 2. Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses, including but not limited to respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypertension, and musculoskeletal injuries. Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies based on evidence-based medicine guidelines and individual patient needs. 3. Preventive Care and Health Promotion: Promote preventive healthcare measures, including vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle modifications, to prevent disease, maintain health, and improve overall well-being. Educate patients about preventive health practices, healthy lifestyle habits, and disease prevention strategies. 4. Chronic Disease Management: Manage chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and arthritis, through comprehensive care plans, regular monitoring, and patient education. Collaborate with specialists and allied healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment for patients with complex medical needs. 5. Patient Education and Counseling: Provide patient education and counseling on medical conditions, treatment options, medication adherence, and self-management strategies. Empower patients to actively participate in their healthcare decisions and take ownership of their health outcomes. 6. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, diagnostic test results, treatment plans, and progress notes. Document patient encounters, assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and referrals in electronic health record (EHR) systems or medical charts. 7. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, specialists, pharmacists, and allied health professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Communicate with patients, families, and caregivers in a clear, compassionate, and culturally sensitive manner, addressing their concerns and questions effectively. Requirements: Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized medical school or university. Valid medical license issued by the Kerala Medical Council or Medical Council of India. Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience working as a General Physician or General Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, or primary care setting. Strong clinical skills, diagnostic abilities, and evidence-based medical practice knowledge. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and bedside manner skills.
